I'm so sorry if you think your kid will be perfect for a photo shoot! They won't be. EVEN WHEN THEY GROW UP! And, I know this because I have 2! MINE were mostly horrible, if I remember correctly. So, I'm used to it.
I've been told many things about the experience we offer. The most common is, "Geeeeee, you sure are patient with kids, I'm sure you didn't get any of my little boy, I'm sorry he acted so bad."
Not true. He was himself in a situation he probably didn't want to be in. To me, he was a star of his own show. He was, actually, precious, and just what I wanted to capture adorable, natural expressions.
Oh, and he and I had a side bet on how YOU would act, frustrated, anxious, nervous, he tried not to feed off that because it was almost impossible, but he DID IT!!!!!
AND THE PICTURES TURNED OUT GREAT!
Don't be embarrassed about how your kid acts during a photo shoot, they all act that way. Don't put pressure on yourself like I did during my daughter's 2 year old session when I left crying thinking she acted "awful." She was 2. I got a 20x24 wall portrait of her not smiling at me. I love it mostly because it's TOTALLY HER! She was 2. She was always in her own lane. She did what she wanted when she wanted and she never apologized for it, she still doesn't, THANK GOD.
