Hello there, I'm Suzanne Deaton

WITH OVER 23 YEARS EXPERIENCE, THIS IS WHAT I KNOW FOR SURE . . . 

With more than 23 years of experience photographing babies, children, and famileis, I've learned beautiful newborn photography doesn't have to be complicated to look timeless. 

My approach is simple, natural, with the baby leading the session. I believe in gentle posing, authentic expressions, beautiful lighting, and portaits that wil look just as lovely on your walls twenty years from now as they do today.

Nothing makes my heart smile more than walking into homes all over Eastern Kentucky and seeing artwork we have created together. 

Because these tiny moment pass so quickly, and they deserve to be remembered beautifully.

When is the best time to photograph a newborn

I like between 7-14 days old give or take a few days and your circumstances surrounding your birth. 

What should I wear for my photoshoot?

Wear outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. Solid colors, minimal patterns, and coordinating (but not matching) outfits work best for group photos. I LOVE creams, knits, neutrals. Imagine your walls and think about what will look good hanging in your home. 

How long does a photoshoot take?

Session lengths vary depending on the type of shoot. Newborn sessions typically last 1 1/2 to 2 hours depending on feeding schedule, sleeping conditions and other variables I am very flexible with.

When will I receive my photos?

We are fast editors. I don't want you to wait!  Most session files are delivered within 1 week of your viewing/ordering appointment and product ordered typically take 3 weeks, but shorter times can be accommodated upon request. 

Do you offer prints or just digital images?

We offer both! You can choose high-resolution digital files, professional prints, albums, and wall art to showcase your memories beautifully.

Can I upgrade to Watch Me Grow at the Newborn Session?

Yes, if you originally reserve and pay for a newborn session, Signature, Luxury OR Elite and decide later you want to upgrade to Watch Me Grow you sure can. We will credit your Watch Me Grow plan and adjust the pricing accordingly.
